Key selection criteria
- Material — for products stored in a fridge, choose moisture-resistant materials. For premium products, glossy or matte films work well.
- Adhesive — make sure the adhesive suits your packaging type. Glass bottles need a stronger adhesive than plastic.
- Design — the label should stand out on the shelf: bright colours, clear fonts, emphasis on the product’s key benefits.
- Size — the label should exactly match the packaging size, with no empty gaps.
- Testing — test a sample under real conditions before ordering a large batch.
Material type
- PVC — maximum shrink, suits complex shapes
- PET — strength and eco-friendliness
- OPS — high shrink and damage resistance
Film thickness
- 40 microns — for thin, lightweight packaging
- 50 microns — standard option
- 60+ microns — for large bottles and non-standard shapes
Additional effects
- Embossing (foil) — for premium products
- UV varnish — scratch protection
- Perforated zones — for easy opening
