- Temperature — ideally between +15°C and +25°C. Overheating deforms the film, while too low a temperature makes it brittle.
- Humidity — the storage room must be dry, with humidity no higher than 60%. High humidity causes labels to stick together or damages the adhesive layer.
- Light protection — direct sunlight causes fading and weakens adhesive properties. Store rolls in a dark place.
- Horizontal storage — rolls should be stored horizontally on flat, stable racks to avoid deformation.
- Shelf life — usually 6 to 12 months. Use materials in the order they arrived at the warehouse (FIFO principle).
